The Sleaziest of The Greaze is an amazing story, a concept album of flesh and filth. It is set in the distant future, in a time when cyborgs, clones, and DNA filled creatures are controlled by the government for their own diabolical purposes. One particular cyborg, The Sleaziest of the Greaze, is the focus of the story, featuring a cast of amazing, and interesting characters, and great artwork by Nathan Boucher of BOZFONK MOOSICK's superb art direction team. This double disc is an amalgamation of styles and songs recorded by P-Funk keyboardist Danny Bedrosian (keys, production, lead and backup vocals, programming, etc) and Secret Army and P-Funk veterans Lige Curry (bass, vocals) Dewayne "Blackbyrd" Mcknight (guitar), and Rico Lewis (drums), as well as Soular System and Secret Army guitarist Mike Maloney, Asphalt Panda/Unfunkwittable/Secret Army/Red Flag hitchikers drummer Seth Ceders, Boston based guitarist for Secret Army, and Unfunkwittable Marc Munoz, and vocalist Teresa Jimenez. Also Feauted on this album is Moon Child Elise Bedrosian, members of Bedrosian's 18 piece New England based funk band Sweet Motha Child, George Clinton and members of Parliament-Funkadelic, Boston based hip hop programmer Jon Picken, Clinton's son George E. Clinton III, WEFUNK Records' Michael "Clip" Payne, Longtime P-Funk production manager, and former Starr Cullars guitarist Brett Grau, banjo player and leader of Asphalt Panda Duane Day, and the engineering prowress of Take you there Studios Dwayne Dungey, and the Sound Studio's Kevin Hogan & Gary Agresti, as well as Bedrosian himself. This double disc fails to dissapoint, as each song represents a colorful, important, quirky, eclectic, tight, vibrant, groove oriented, melodic, and perpetually imaginative world of music and sound. One tends to hear Bedrosian's penchant for variety, as R&B, Dance, Rock, Hip-Hop, Country, Classical, Psychedelia, Electronica, Blues, Dub, and World Music all get play here. There is not just something for everyone on this double album, but there is something for everyone in virtually every song. Everything from Sciene Fiction to Commercial Jingles to Time Travel, To historic Americana, To Bizzarre Political Commentary, to Fantastial Mythology are included in this masterwork. Bedrosian's admittedly proudest work to date serves to challenge his first two outings, as well as his wealth of amazing collaborations with members of P-Funk, the Soular System, and others, as what can be easily claimed as one of the most ambitious projects in recent BOZFONK history.
