Rockin’ Away was written in the summer of 2006 for the 30th Anniversary of the release of the first “Boston” record. It was the last song that Brad and I wrote together. In it, Brad reflects on how he became involved in music, and thanks his many fans for their years of loyalty. It was my hope that the song might lead to a rekindling of my relationship with the band. Unfortunately it did not. Brad’s family and I felt that his many fans would appreciate hearing his spectacular voice one more time on a new song. I hope that you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it. - Barry Goudreau

Goosebumps !

I have been a die-hard fan of Boston since they started, but I had no idea this song existed. I downloaded it immediately and Bam - goosebumps.

It's a chance to hear some new Boston with the old sound, and is a great tribute to Brad! If you are a Boston fan you'll want this song.

Amazing song

A buddy of mine who's a disc jockey at WQBK (Q103) in Albany, NY played this song one day on the air. I was immediately hooked. A few days later he played it again, this time giving out the information as to where it could be purchased (this site). As soon as I got home, I came to the site and purchased it. Through all the incarnations the band Boston has been through, the best music the band ever put out was when Delp and Goodreau were the vocalist/guitar team. This song brings that vibe back. It's catchy, danceable, and well written with references to classic Boston songs sprinkled within the autobiographical lyrics. The news of Brad Delp's death saddened me immensely when I heard it. When this song was released later, hearing Delp do his thing one more time, especially with Barry Goodreau, was almost therapeutic.

Unfortunately this is the last tune from Brad Delp. Grew up listening to his songs. Will badly be missed by all his fans. R.I.P. brother and thanks Barry for making this final song. Rock on.
