Rockin’ Away was written in the summer of 2006 for the 30th Anniversary of the release of the first “Boston” record. It was the last song that Brad and I wrote together. In it, Brad reflects on how he became involved in music, and thanks his many fans for their years of loyalty. It was my hope that the song might lead to a rekindling of my relationship with the band. Unfortunately it did not. Brad’s family and I felt that his many fans would appreciate hearing his spectacular voice one more time on a new song. I hope that you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it.- Barry Goudreau

Unfortunately this is the last tune from Brad Delp. Grew up listening to his songs. Will badly be missed by all his fans. R.I.P. brother and thanks Barry for making this final song. Rock on.

I just heard this song and immediatly ordered the Rockin' Away CD. Brad Delp's uplifting, soaring and poignant vocals flourished with both Tom Scholz and Barry Goodreau (two stellar guitarists). Brad Delp was also a humanitarian and animal loving vegetarian. His final act of kindness was safeguarding his cat on his last day. God Bless Brad Delp's humane soul.

This tune is true the legendary "Boston" style. Having grown up with Boston (in New England I might add), Boston was a staple for anyone who knew Rock & Roll, and "Rockin' away" takes me back to the "More than a Feeling" days. As stated previously, this song brings teary eyes seeing that the world of "Real" music has lost a great Musician/ Vocallist Brad Delp. Thank you so very much Bary for keeping Brad's memory alive, Great work! from Wayne C. in New Hampshire.
