Thursdays At The Piano Shack
by Chris Commisso
THE SINGER Chris has a cool pop/rock kinda vocal going on. Anyway, the dogs don't howl when he sings. He has performed all over the U.S. & in Feb/2007 he was one of 12 nationwide vocal finalists in the Gospel Music Association's talent competition in Dallas, Tx. Don't mess with Texas!

THE SONGWRITER Chris is an award winning songwriter with over 500 original songs & compositions in his catalog. (he really needs to get out more often) In 2002 he was awarded the prestigious International Overall song of 2002 award in Estes Park, Co by the Academy of Gospel Music Arts for his song "Wait for Me." In 2003 his song "Coulda Been" took first place in the U.S. in the Great American Song Contest. So, he's constantly writing-even when there's something good on TV!.

THE PLAYER Chris plays the kazoo with great intensity, but in addition to this, he is an accomplished pianist & also loves playing the keyboards, keytar, drums & guitar & plays these & all other instruments on his recordings. His is a seasoned player who began playing in a family band at the age of 6 & has been performing like mad ever since!

THE PRODUCER Chris currently produces his own material but also enjoys working with other producers. Where ya at Timbaland?!

THE FILMMAKER Chris has been writing & directing movies since the age of 10. He has directed over 50 film shorts, full-length films, music video's & stage plays. His recent work includes "Meeting Maribell", "Panball" & the music videos for "Don't Ya Dare" & "They Can't Tell" which can be viewed on his website (www.chriscommisso.com)-And several more projects are currently in development!!! (including plans for a hover board & invisible drum set). Ok, we're kidding about the drum set, but the hover board...

THE PUBLIC SPEAKER Chris is a confident public speaker who has spoken for many churches, schools ect; Ok, there were a couple times when he wasn't confident, but we wont mention those. Oh shoot, we just did.

THE PERSON Hey, all this bio mumbo jumbo aside, Chris is a very down to earth guy with a passion for God, family, friends, people & music!!! He loves sharing his songs, so take a listen!!!
