In addition, she has studied and played piano for over 20 years, worked for several years at a North Shore fine jazz club, and is currently attending Berklee College of Music. A passionate and a deep appreciation of great jazz vocalists like Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson, Joni Mitchell, Sarah Vaughn, Diane Shuur, Anita O'Day, have influenced Monica's jazz vocal style.
