Jim started writing and performing with the original band Chin Friction. In the late 80’s and early 90’s the band played college gigs, weekend dates at Boston’s major rock clubs, and received air play on WBCN in Boston.

Fast forward to now. Finding time to return to his passion ,Jim found technology and talented sound engineer/computer guru Tim Long. The result is a CD full of thoughtful verses that get to the even stronger choruses sooner than later.

Currently the song Open The Door is used in the soundtrack of a powerful DVD to promote teenage adoption in New York City. The song Father’s Day received air play on Boston radio on Fathers Day 2006 thanks to Jordan Rich. Out of the Blue is a top ten finalist in the most recent International Acoustic Music Awards competition.

To keep their chops up Jim still plays with former band mates Mark Tarricone on drums and Rick Mooney on bass.
