Louise Barnes has sung traditional Celtic and English ballads in renaissance festivals and coffee houses for the past 20 years. She has been performing music since 1976. She played in the Renaissance Faire in San Francisco and Los Angeles. In 1979, she moved to Connecticut and met and performed with an Irish fiddle player named Paddy Reynolds, who was a recording artist on the Shanachie label. They played at Kelly's Irish Times in Washington D.C., and several Irish pubs in the New York Area.
Louise now performs as a singer/songwriter in the Connecticut area. She sings, plays guitar, 5 string banjo, recorder, and lute.A number of people have described Louise's singing as "The voice of an angel".
