Here's the scoop... Stewart Coley is an accomplished guitar player/singer turned songwriter. He began playing guitar in Burlington, NC at the young age of 8 and started performing with bands at age 17. He has had a very successful band career despite a rare spinal aneurysm that left him without use of his legs and confined to a wheelchair at age 29. He has performed on most of the east coast and Canada with various bands and as a side man. He played guitar and sang at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville with Highway Time when the band signed with Sundial Records and cut their video for CMT. He still stays active as lead guitarist/vocalist playing a variety of music including southern & classic rock, country and alternative styles.

Stewart began his acoustic songwriting in earnest in early 2002. The response he received from his writing sparked him to do a totally acoustic project featuring his own music and a few special cuts such as his own compilation of an acoustic version of “Little Wing” first released by Jimi Hendrix in 1969. His own songs have caught their own sound with unique chords progressions, powerful vocal themes and a clear strong voice. He is now performing frequently his own acoustic show.

After many request from fans, he has released a CD entitled “For The Fans” which includes some of the most requested cover songs he performs at his shows. He is currently writing and recording his next original CD project, and working on his Associate Degree in Entertainment Technologies. Stewart is endorsed by Samick Guitars and is a BMI affiliate.

Stewart currently lives in Trinity, NC with his wife and between them they have three girls ranging from 10 to 21.
