In January, 2003, Lyman got his first airplay when Boston radio station WXRV, 92.5 FM, "The River", played "Sitting Alone On A Sunday Morning", an acoustic song from his new cd. In September, 2003 the title cut of his cd, "You'll Come Back Dreamer", charted at number 6 on the weekly Top 40 countdown on New Artist Radio, an internet radio station.

His cd was recorded and produced by Chris Brenne at Magic Brew Productions in Cambridge, Mass. Lyman wrote all the songs on the cd, sang lead vocals and played rythm guitar. Brenne performed on lead guitar, bass, keyboards, and auxiliary percussion. Tom Bouchie played drums. Patty Evans played piano and flute. Chris Brenne, Dan Hulse, and Parul Vakani sang backing vocals. Mastering was done by Brian Capouch at Soundworks Studios in Watertown, Mass.
